Type of driver

The driver is different by the type of scanner (type of interface) and the OS to be used.

ISIS Driver

PFU bundles ISIS scanner driver with all the FUJITSU scanner fi-series (*)

PFU Limited cooperates with Pixel Translations, a division of Captiva Software Corporation for comprehensive tie-up including development of ISIS drivers for Fujitsu scanner fi-series. PFU and Pixel expand scanner driver support and aim to provide the customers better & extensive imaging solutions.

Under the agreement, Pixel Translations has developed special drivers, which are optimized for FUJITSU scanner fi-series. PFU will bundle the Pixel's ISIS scanner driver with every Fujitsu scanner fi-series shipped worldwide. The Pixel's ISIS driver system is used by 134 software vendors to build it into their software products to expand its connectivity to ISIS supported scanners. These specially developed, stabilized and reliable ISIS drivers allow users to use more than 300 applications, which support ISIS (some of them only support ISIS), with FUJITSU scanner fi-sries. The FUJITSU scanner fi-sries now support both of "TWAIN" and "ISIS", the top two scanner drivers in the market worldwide, and the scanners can be used on any application.

Users can start effective scanning on the day they purchased the scanners with the bundled QuickScan Pro Demo software, which is a demonstration version of Pixel's scanning utility and developed based on the well-sold Pixel's image viewer, "pixview".

TWAIN Driver

Please install the TWAIN driver if your application software supports TWAIN. You can download the latest TWAIN driver from the following table by the type of the scanner model and the OS.
